PortAventura Spain

PortAventura is a theme park and a resort in the south of Barcelona, in Salou, Tarragona, Spain; on the Costa Dorada. It attracts around 4 million visitors per year making it the most visited theme park in Spain.

PortAventura Park is also the 6th most visited theme park in Europe. The resort also includes Costa Caribe Aquatic Park and four hotels. It is the biggest resort in the south of Europe. It has two airports within 30 minutes of it, including Reus Airport.There is a train station for PortAventura which has connections to Barcelona and Salou.

The park, located in the south of Barcelona, features five theme areas based on historic civilizations (Mediterrània, Far West, México, China and Polynesia) and one theme area based on Sesame Street which was opened for the 2011 season of the park.

The park is home to twelve roller coasters, the oldest being the Alpenexpress Mine Train, where a powered coaster speeds through a diamond mine, – and the newest coaster being Arthur, a suspended indoor/outdoor powered rollercoaster and dark ride combination. Parc Asterix France

Parc Asterix is a theme amusement park in France, based on the stories of Asterix (by Albert Uderzo and René Goscinny). Situated approximately 35 km (22 mi) north of Paris, 32 km (20 mi) from Disneyland Resort Paris and 20 km (12 mi) from the historic Château de Chantilly, in Plailly in the département of Oise, it opened in 1989.

Gröna Lund Stockholm - Sweden

Gröna Lund is an amusement park in Stockholm, Sweden. It is located on the seaward side of the Djurgården island and is relatively small compared to other amusement parks, mainly due to its central location, which limits expansion. The 15-acre amusement park has over 30 attractions, and is a popular venue for concerts during the summer. Gröna Lund was founded in 1883 by James Schultheiss. Gröna Lund's roots are in the 1880s, making it Sweden's oldest amusement park. In 1883, a German by the name of Jacob Schultheiss rented the area to erect "carousels and other amusements", and until 2001 descendants of Schultheiss ran Gröna Lund. Before the amusement park came into being, Gröna Lund was the name of a small park.

Gardaland Italy

Gardaland is an amusement park located in North-Eastern Italy. Opened 19 July 1975, it includes "Gardaland", "Gardaland Sea-Life" and "Gardaland Hotel". It is adjacent to Lake Garda while not looking out of it. The entire complex covers an area of 445,000 m2 (4,789,940 sq ft), while the only theme park measuring 200,000 m2 (2,152,782 sq ft). Inside there are mechanical attractions and themed water well. Every year it is visited by nearly 3 million people.
